Today, I had the pleasure of spending time with a lovely family of 11 kids. They welcomed me to capture a special moment in their lives—this momma’s last pregnancy. From the moment I met her, I felt her warmth. She has a peaceful and compassionate spirit that draws people in. With so many kids, you might expect chaos, but instead, there was a lovely harmony amongst them.

As a mother of five myself, I understand the challenges and joys of having a big family. Meeting her felt like connecting with a kindred spirit. We quickly became friends, sharing stories and laughter. Her faith shines through in everything she does, and her wisdom is evident in her nurturing presence. I felt deeply grateful that she chose me to capture their wonderful family and document this last pregnancy.

We decided to shoot at White Sands, a place that always feels magical. The landscape was stunning, with soft white sands stretching endlessly. The sun set gently, providing the perfect backdrop for their photos. During the session, we moved around, playing and exploring, creating an adventure together. 

At the end of the day, I left feeling inspired, with my heart full. I think about how grateful I am for families like hers. They remind me of the beauty in family life—a journey filled with ups and downs, love and laughter. Capturing their story was an honor, and I hope these images will hold cherished memories for years to come.
